Bella Halpert, MD

Dr. Bella Halpert is a nephrologist specializing in hypertension, chronic kidney disease and dialysis management. She believes good kidney care starts with listening, and she works closely with patients from early diagnosis through dialysis to make complex decisions feel clear and manageable.

Raised in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Halpert completed both her internal medicine residency and her nephrology fellowship at One Brooklyn Health, Brookdale Hospital, where she was selected as Chief Fellow and devoted much of her time to teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians. Multilingual in four languages, including Russian, Ukrainian, Hebrew, and Yiddish, Dr. Halpert connects easily with the diverse communities she serves. She brings deep compassion and a strong work ethic to every patient she serves.
